ABOUT
CASPR is a Section 8, not-for-profit Company registered under the Indian Companies Act. It is an independent institution which through its various initiatives aims to contribute to the effective policy formulation, execution& sustainability. This would work as a critical think tank and involve itself in promoting the interdisciplinary research; predominantly in the areas viz. Economic & Social Policy, Governance, Law, State, History, Anthropology, Media Studies, Political Science, International Relations etc.

CASPR works as a catalyst to connect the research and allied activities to the policymaking process. Though, the trust/organization being a research centre at the core, it could also embark its courses/programs soon.
OBJECTIVES
To run a non-profit organization to initiate, plan, execute, implement, aid and assist activities directed towards enhancing the quality of life of the poor and needy sections of the society without reference to race, religion, creed, caste or sex
To work in the area of education and development related activities in urban as well as rural areas especially for all the socially and economically deprived and marginalized sections of society including people from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward societies, women and children with the aim of social, economic and cultural inclusion
To take up research and development projects with and to develop strategic, academic and professional linkages for development of academic material and contribute, function, act as a catalyst ineffective policy formulation and execution at local, national and international levels
To promote, execute, carry on the interdisciplinary research studies predominantly in the areas such as Economic and Social Policy, Governance, Law, State, History, Anthropology, Media Studies, Political Science, International Relations and allied domains through developing an institutional framework
